Wali Gujarati was a stalwart poet and a gifted musician who adopted Gujarat as his land. Dhruv Sangari who is a musician paid a tribute to the poet. The event was an intimate courtyard performance. The date of the performance was also significant; as 11 years ago his tomb was raised to the ground and tarred overnight during the Gujarat 2002 Genocide.
