‘Sound’ – an ordinary sense that surrounds us; Sound can be noises, of everyday mundane routines, of the hustle-bustle of the city, or they can invoke memories. The question is – can sounds invoke feelings and emotions that can drive us to introspect, to take us to a space of numbness, of disgust, of hatred, of hope and of solitude.
‘Sonic Terrains’ was an exhibition showcasing experiences and explorations of sound is a collaborative effort of Radio Nazariya, one of Ahmedabad’s first community radio station, and Conflictorium, a Museum of Conflict.
