24 FEBRUARY 2016 TO 23 MARCH 2016 | EXHIBITION
Incongruent aimed to bring together images (artworks, photographs, installations, videos, documents), which made an attempt at breaking the normalized imagination of our selves and the space we inhabit. It tried to project images that are imagined and real, which question the selective blindness of our casteist, racist, religious, and sexist prejudices and thought regimes at play in our times.
Incongruent marked an attempt to put together in a spatial context the different interpretations of what contemporary reality is in this country. The idea was also to bring images, which were part of different discourses into a temporal framework of the present.
