27 JUNE 2022 TO 30 JUNE 2022| WORKSHOP
‘In and Out of Meaning’ – A four-day workshop tried to study the conflict between ‘the constant effort to make meaning in life’ and ‘the ever emerging meaninglessness of life’. Why do we often ask or get asked: ‘What do you mean?’ Why does a song/text/film/expression that was meaningless to us earlier become very meaningful later? Why is being selfish is many times referred to as being mean? Is a scientific-objective-universal meaning better, or a cultural-subjective-personal meaning better? Why does something become meaningful to us at all? And then why suddenly it stops being meaningful some day?
