27 MAY – 28 MAY 2017 | POETRY WORKSHOP AND PERFORMANCE | IN COLLABORATION WITH  POVERA

The confessional is a series of workshops designed and curated to specifically tailor the needs of spoken word poets in Ahmedabad. We began the workshop with Introduction to Spoken Word Poetry and Performance and kept progressing from there. A lot of known artists from around the country, came tutor in the art form.

This workshop covered the following:

-Introduction to Spoken Word
-What Spoken Word can do for you
-Writing for the stage whilst not losing your authenticity
-Performance basics + what makes a good performer
-Different performance styles
-Enhance versatility in content
-Building stage presence
-Working on the performer-audience connection
