It shows the courage and determination of Dalit women and men to assert their rights despite all odds. By capturing these stories of struggle, Project Heartland wants these brave people to be known, recognized and be seen as an inspiration to others.

The Battle of Koregaon- An unending journey is a documentary by Somnath Waghmare that traces the story of commemoration of the historic battle of Koregaon where a few hundred Mahar army defeated the thousands-strong Peshwa army. It’s a story of how the legacy is carried even today through the various struggles for emancipation.
