Agnipariksha is a book written by Hamid Kureshi. It is a memoir of trauma and hope based on the 1969 Ahmedabad riots. The writer talks about cultural and religious pluralism as he was a third-generation Gandhian. The Gujarat High court lawyer also shares his experience of riots. This book revolves around conflict, human kindness, friendship and dignity, hatred, mortal danger and fear.
