FORSAKEN is a collection of photographs and vignettes which document Lana Slezic’s journey over the two-year period during which she lived and worked in Afghanistan. During her stay in Afghanistan, she was deeply moved by the problems faced by Afghan women where they were still living in a society with forced marriage, domestic violence, honour killings and lack of freedom for women.
